Consider fuel economy and safety also. And if the drive is especially long, or if you expect to find extreme temperatures, having nice extras like air conditioning and a good music player will go a long way. Another extra you shouldn’t overlook if you don’t own it: GPS. The last thing you’ll want is to having driven hours only to lose precious time looking for a specific street.
