There are too many people in this world that look at going on holiday as a trip to the beach. And not speaking figuratively, they only consider that they are officially on holiday when they’re lying in a beach somewhere. And this used to be absolutely fine for tourist managers everywhere, until a new generation of tourists started making themselves known. This new generation of holiday goers couldn’t care less about beaches, oceans and water sports. They are people who for their family holidays would rather rent out two cheap Warwickshire hotel rooms than stay in a luxury hotel in Hawaii.
And the modern hotel manager and tourist official needs to know how to cater to these people. A few decades ago only senior tourism would seek land locked regions, for being calmer and with cleaner air. But nowadays, there are a lot of people looking to run away from the confusion of a crowded beach and busy holiday resorts. So you see the problem here: more and more people are going to the interior of a country looking to run away from crowded spaces, thus making that space crowded. Fortunately, it seems as though there are plenty of good ideas in the bag of these hotel managers, so all is good.
