Sheffield to Hamburg

The Imtech arena will be a buzz of activity as the Haye vs Klitschko match approaches.  With not much time left to plan your journey it is time to get a move on if you really want to see one of the top fights this century.  If you live in Sheffield you have a number of options available to you – depending on your budget and the length of time you mind travelling.

The best option with such a short time frame is to fly from Doncaster Sheffield airport to Hamburg.  The flight will take approximately two hours although you may be pushed to find an airline that travels directly, with most opting for a change in Manchester or London.  It may be best to travel to one of these cities and then fly direct.  Fly BMI, Lufthansa, Easy Jet, KLM and Air France all have direct services between the two cities.

Another option is to take the bus or train from Sheffield to London and then catch the Eurostar from London to Hamburg.  With a stop in Brussels, this is clearly going to take a lot longer than flying but if you plan to travel soon you still have time to make it.  Not only that, it is much cheaper and the journey is more scenic.  Prices start at 69 euros per ticket and may be reduced even further if you have a valid rail card.

Upon arriving at Hamburg Airport or at the Hamburg Rail Station, the price of a taxi to the arena will cost around $20.  So what are you waiting for, get on the phone, or online and start looking for the best option for your budget.  This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and not one you want to miss out on! Watch Klitschko vs Haye live from the stands!

Details on Trip Planning

Details on Trip Planning

Vacation planning takes more than just choosing when and where you want to go.  You should know about the deals that are available so you can spend less to do what you want to do.  Maybe you are traveling with a group, there is a deal for that or what if you have trouble with hotel reservations. Who would you call?  Not many people know what to do with a situation like this.

What about lost luggage?  If you had a travel agent, that person can fix your troubles because they have connections that you don’t.  Most tickets sold for cruises are sold by an agent and almost half of car rentals and hotel bookings are also done by an agent.  Anyone can use a Thomson discount code to save on tours, hotels and attractions and this savings will put a smile on your face.

Planning involves details and the little details can make or break your trip. Take some time to do your homework and talk with an agent who can let you know little aspects you have not considered.  Your dream vacation is possible and if you want help with the details, it is there waiting.

Gatwick Airport Parking: Plan Ahead For The Best Results

Gatwick Airport Parking: Plan Ahead For The Best Results

Gatwick airport is incredibly busy; it’s the busiest airport in the world with a single runway. It is also the second biggest UK airport, and the seventh busiest airport in the whole world. There are over ninety airlines flying to just around two-hundred different places every day.

This all adds up to a bit of a parking nightmare. Once you get to the airport, there are four different options available.

The first option is the closest and most expensive, located very close to the terminal. This is called short-trm parking, and is good for up to five hours. It’s possible to stay there longer, but it gets more expensive as you stay longer.

Secong you have Fast Track parking, which is for the business traveler. It is located in the short-term parking lots.

The last two options are the long-term parking and valet parking. The longer term is the best option if you want to save some money, and they have complimentary buses that run every ten minutes to take you to your terminal. Valet parking is obviously more expensive, but is the most convenient option available.

The best idea in dealing with Gatwick airport parking is to reserve it ahead of time. This way you can avoid any last minute problems that might end up delaying your travel. Planning ahead is always the best option.
